We are happy to announce that Zcoin has been added into Polispay‘s payment platform allowing the use of Zcoin to buy real world goods and services. You can also use Polispay’s app as a wallet to store your Zcoin and also shift into other currencies and vice versa. Polispay currently supports Zcoin, Bitcoin, Dash, Litecoin and Polis.
Some of you may remember that shortly after our previous announcement, Polispay’s card ran into problems being issued outside of Mexico and we are happy that their Mastercard e-card solution via Bitcou is now live in Europe and the platform has been further improved and expanded to include gift cards in over 30 countries from companies such as Steam, Netflix, Spotify and Amazon.
EPay Prepaid Mastercard
The epay card Prepaid Mastercard® is embossed and does not feature a name on the card. This enables you to pay anonymously online and offline up to €100. Should you wish to spend more, you can identify yourself within minutes using the Bitcou video identification procedure and thus immediately increase your monthly limit to €4,000 (annually: €36,000).
The card can be ordered through Bitcou GmbH. The recharge is then possible via gift card through the Polispay App in €100, €50 and €25. For the shipping of a single card and activation, Bitcou charges €25. PolisPay is the first app in the world where you can load the card with crypto.
The epay cards will be available for the following countries:
Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and United Kingdom.
You can start to order the card by going to this link. The ability to order the card directly from the Polispay app will be made available in the coming weeks.
Coming Soon : Union Pay
The Polispay system having finalized negotiations with Union Pay are now also working on integrating it into their PolisPay platform. Users will soon be able to use a debit card to spend their Zcoin on real-world goods and services.
The process works in a way that merchants get paid in their own currency while you are charged in Zcoin from your prepaid balance. This guarantees that users will be able to pay for things, in establishments where cryptocurrencies are not fully adopted yet. Soon you will be spending your Zcoin everywhere!
